Admissions procedure
Α. Personal (out-of-pocket) payment coverage
A patient’s admission in Diaplasis, for inpatient care, through personal payment coverage (out-of-pocket), follows specific steps and documents.
A medical report by the treating physician or nursing institution is required, which describes in detail the diagnosis, the patient’s clinical condition and the need for a rehabilitation program (neurological, orthopedic, cardiological, etc.).
The file is assessed by the interdisciplinary team of Diaplasis, in order to determine the patient’s eligibility for admission, as well as the indicated therapeutic plan.
If the patient is found eligible for admission, the family gets informed about:
> the estimated length of hospitalization,
> the daily or total cost,
> the services provided,
> the terms of the financial agreement
Before admission, an agreement for rehabilitation services is signed and all the necessary patient information and medical documents/records are provided.
Please contact us, for more information about rehabilitation programs, hospitalization options and costs.
