Occupational therapy is the basic link that connects functional rehabilitation to everyday life.  The occupational therapist focuses on recovering functional skills, helping the patient to selfserve, move safely and actively participate in their daily activities.  Occupational therapy services are addressed to adults and elderly people, aiming at functionality improvement, autonomy and quality of life.

Individualized Assessment & Occupational therapy Interventions

The occupational therapy assessment constitutes the first and most important stage of the therapeutic process. Each program is individually designed, taking into consideration:

  • the functionality status of the patient
  • the environment he lives in
  • the patient’s actual daily needs

Occupational therapy interventions are carried out in close collaboration with the Physiatrist and the interdisciplinary team, in order to form a comprehensive therapeutic plan of medical rehabilitation services
