Outpatient Rehabilitation is a flexible and effective option for patients who wish to continue their rehabilitation program without staying overnight (Inpatient care), thus maintaining their quality of life and independence.
Outpatient Rehabilitation at Diaplasis
The outpatient Rehabilitation program at Diaplasis, for patients who are in the final stage of recovery or with chronic medical conditions which affect their mobility, is transformed into a thorough and meaningful process.
Therapeutic program planning
Our interdisciplinary team designs individualized treatment programs, depending on each patient’s needs, while our experienced and certified therapists ensure that each session offers real, measurable benefit.
Patient transportation
In agreement with our Center, transportation to and from DIAPLASIS, for patients who wish for outpatient rehabilitation programs can be achieved, with the use of the Center’s adapted/wheelchair accessible minibuses for people with disabilities.
Therapies
The outpatient rehabilitation programs at Diaplasis, may also include a variation of treatments, while its duration usually consumes the entire morning. After an evaluation by the scientific director, patients undergo personalized treatment programs that include:

> Speech Therapy
> Hydrotherapy

Process of enrolling an outpatient rehabilitation program
Α. Out-of-pocket expenses coverage
The enrollment of a patient at Diaplasis outpatient rehabilitation program, without the coverage by a public health insurance provider, is carried out through a simple and organized process, aiming at a prompt and safe treatment initiation.
A recent medical report from a treating physician, describing the diagnosis and documenting the need for rehabilitation treatments.
The medical file is evaluated by the scientific team of the Rehabilitation Center in order to design a personalized treatment program.
After the evaluation, the patient or his family are informed about the:
> frequency and duration of therapy sessions
> estimated duration of rehabilitation program
> cost of services
> payment terms and options
A relevant service agreement/contract is signed before the rehabilitation program begins and all the necessary personal and medical documentation of the patient are submitted.
