The spinal cord, along with the brain, constitutes the body’s main “control center”, transmitting messages that regulate movement, sensation and vital functions. When a Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) occurs, usually after a trauma of the spinal cord, this communication is disrupted to varying degrees.
What do we wish to achieve
Here, at Diaplasis Rehabilitation Center, in Kalamata, we do not just focus on the injury, but also on the person as a whole.
