He is a graduate of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens Medical School, specialized in Orthopaedic Trauma Surgery, Pediatric Orthopaedics and spinal cord surgery.

He practiced medicine in Attica and Messinia, at:

  • “KAT” General Hospital of Attica
  • “Agia Sofia” Children’s General Hospital of Athens
  • General Hospital of Kalamata, Messinia

He has been working as an orthopaedic surgeon at the Orthopedic Department of the
General Hospital of Kalamata, since 2018
. He has been consulting patients (by appointment) at Diaplasis Rehabilitation Center since 2024 and performs surgical procedures at Bioclinic Medical Center of Athens.
Dr Periklis Nikolakeas has a continuous presence in internationally recognized conferences (AOTRAUMA, Hellenic Arthroscopy Association). He is also actively involved in writing and research, translating orthopaedic textbooks and studies of orthopaedic advancements.
